We decided it was time to replace our old deck. After having several contractors come out to take a look at the job, we were ready to go with one of them......but then we read the on line reviews for Dr. Deck, and decided to meet with them as well before we made a final decision. When Yair first came out to take a look at the job, he listened carefully as we described what we wanted, he asked insightful questions to confirm the specific details of what we envisioned, and he made a number of good suggestions that he thought would enhance our new deck. After the meeting, we felt that Yair would be very easy to work with......and after we received his competitive quote, we decided to go with Dr. Deck. The work began shortly after......and was finished even sooner than we had anticipated! Throughout the construction process, Yair and his crew paid close attention to every detail to ensure a real high-end look......and after the work was completed, Yair reached out to make sure we were 100% happy with the deck. (We are!) So even if you think you know who you want to hire for your deck project......before you make a final decision, you'll definitely want to talk to Dr. Deck. I highly recommend Yair and his crew!

I'll be recommending Dr. Deck to any of my contacts who have decking needs. There's a number of reasons for this. The most important aspect - the finished product itself - was as expected based on the quality work shown in Dr Deck's Yelp photos. The photos show good work, and it is indeed good work. We went with 4' IPE wood + clips for a 12x19' detached elevated deck. We also added a stainless steel cable railing, and a built-in IPE bench. I made the joke that in the event of an earthquake I'd run out of my house and onto the deck. I was only half-joking, as this thing is just that sturdy. The team started on time every day, were courteous, they didn't mind me poking around out of curiosity, and they problem solved some medium-sized surprises without losing velocity. Pricing was also reasonable, which was around the bottom 30% percentile of the 5 bids I received for the job. What stood out to me during the bidding process was: Yair's attention to detail; accommodation for budget-friendly approaches; and his dismissal of site-access concerns that other contractors wanted to make into an ordeal. Two thumbs up from me.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about Yair and his crew. I really can't. Hire them NOW. It was worth every penny. They showed up promptly on time every morning, worked efficiently, and left the worksite clean every day. The craftsmanship is impeccable. They worked around a few audibles we ended up pulling and were cool about everything. We had some uneven terrain, and they made it all fit like a glove. They rebuilt our entry stairs, they built us a new metal entry gate with a new ipe wood fence to match, they covered our ugly brick garden walls with gorgeous wood. We had a weird situation underneath the deck with some ugly broken up concrete we couldn't remove; they built a beautiful wood bench/day bed to cover it up. They have legitimately set the bar for anyone I want to work with on our house from here on out. I wish I had more decks for them to build so I could hire them again. Seriously, stop reading, call Yair, hire them now.

Yair was really great to work with during the planning and bidding phase, and once it was time to build his crew was professional and fast, delivering a high quality product. They solved a few problems that popped up with no hesitation and took my ideas seriously and responded to requests for small alterations. Such an easy process and a great result! Such an amazing experience working with Yair and his team. From our initial meeting to the final staining the team has been professional, courteous, transparent, and accommodating. We had a few delays on our part but they were able to shift their schedule to help us out which is always appreciated when you are trying to juggle several projects. We also had a gas line and electrical installed and they made sure to adjust the framing as needed without any hesitation. The guys showed up every morning at 8am on the dot and completed the project in under 2 weeks. Incredibly happy with the result and highly recommend Dr Deck for your next project
